Thanks to the hard work of our UChicago EM faculty, Tess Hogan, MD and Tom Spiegel, MD, ACEP has officially accredited geriatric emergency care for emergency departments. Dr’s Hogan and Spiegel along with several other physicians from across the country worked hard in developing the geriatric emergency department (GED) guidelines.
